I had often wondered about renewable energy, and solar energy in particular, but it always seemed to be in a category with tree hugging and talking to flowers. You know the sort of thing, all very nice but not really for me. But then I saw this news item on TV about a woman who had virtually got rid of her power bills.

Hey, this was on CBS, this was serious. So I started reading up on it and you know what? This was real. You honestly can generate your own power. I was hooked, I wanted to know more about this win-win proposition.

I did a bit of research and found that renewable energy was no longer a joke but it was now the real deal. This was a professional alternative to the problems of fossil fuels and even the goverment has sat up and taken notice.

Solar Energy and Wind - Natures Gift

The sun has been powering life on earth for millions of years and it isn't going to run out just yet! The wind has been around for just as long and is going be blowing long after the oil runs dry. Not only are these two immense power sources free, they don't harm the ecosystem and they are vitually unlimited!

As far as I could see, this was a no brainer. The choice is simple: to be dependant on the ever shrinking supply of oil that not only harms the atmosphere but costs more and more each year, or to switch to a free and endless supply of clean energy.

Let me think about that one for a moment! Like I said, it was no-brainer.

The company that I found was Earth4Energy and what they supplied was a complete manual for building and installing your very own power plant driven by the free energy supplied from the wind and the sun.

I hadn't originally considered building my own power station and I was initially a little dubious. But after reading some extremely complimentary reviews and taking into account that the cost was minimal compared to the alternatives, I decided to give it a shot.

The Eath4Energy manual is a joy to read and teaches you all you need to know about both solar and wind technologies. The guys really know their stuff. As for the constructiuon process, there is a complete step-by-step fully illustrated manual. This contains simple, easy-to-read English instructions with clear illustrations that will guide you through the total process of building and installation.

The manual does say that you can put it together in a weekend. In fact the literature claims that it is a 'perfect weekend project'. Well all I can say is that it took me a bit longer. In fact it took two weekends in total, partly because I got involved in several discussions with my curious neighbours who spent most the time asking questions about what I was doing and how could they get started!.

(At least two of my neighbours are now getting ready to follow me on the path to power freedom by building their own setup.)

The finished job looks really professional and the coat of paint adds the finishing touch. I get a real sense of pride looking at the finished product, and I am now considered to be a real eco guru on the block. I hadn't realised how many people were interested in solar and wind power. I even get people knocking on my door to ask me about it.

Would I Recommend Solar Energy ?

What seemed to be so good with the whole project was the quality of the manual. It was obviously written by someone who really knows how to put together the technology. The major consideration was the attention to detail, the step by step illustrations and the use of easy to find items.

Here's why I recommend it.

The reason why I recommend Earth4Energy is because I followed their plans and the results were almost unbelievable. I am just an ordinary guy with ordinary skills. I know which end of a srewdriver to hold and how to hit a nail, but not much more! But I was really proud of my finished work.

Although it did take me a couple days longer to build my power station than it says on the website, I did manage to get it up and working it up in 2 weekends, which I'm sure you'll agree is pretty astonishing.

In my opinion, this is a great product and very easy to put together and install. Obviously everyone is different but the instructions really are very straight forward. The great part is that everything that you need you can be bought from your local stores. The manual tells you what to buy. You buy it, follow the simple assembly instructions - and you are producing electricity. What could be simpler? You don't even have to order special parts or get permissions from the power company or anything like that.

Anyway, I hope you've found this information useful whatever your situation because if I had known about Earth4Energy a few months back, I could have started saving even sooner. I wish you every success!
